An electric car is powered by an electric motor instead of a petrol engine. The electric motor gets energy from a controller, which regulates the amount of power.

The EV charging ecosystem includes a variety of businesses and service providers, but not the power suppliers to grid. There are five components of that ecosystem: OEMs, EVs, electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), charge point operator (CPO) and finally E-Mobility Service Provider (EMSP).

At its most basic, an EV charger pulls an electrical current from either a 240v outlet or the grid it’s hardwired to and delivers that electricity to the vehicle, just like any other appliance or device you charge by plugging into the wall.

Dynamic Edge Creative is a one-stop solution for establishing a cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable electric vehicle charging ecosystem, and is leading the charging infra-area with innovation in smart grid charging as well as advanced technology and efficient processes. We are a turnkey solution provider for establishing a cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable EV charging ecosystem.

The difference between AC charging and DC charging is the location where the AC power gets converted; inside or outside the car. Unlike AC chargers, a DC charger has a converter inside the charger itself. That means it can feed power directly to the car’s battery and doesn’t need the onboard charger to convert it.

The capacity of AC charging starts from 3.3kW to 44kW where in DC it starts from 30kW to 240kW The range of AC charging capacity varies between 3.3kW and 44kW, while the DC charging capacity starts at 30kW and goes up to 240kW.

The electric vehicle controller is the electronics package that operates between the batteries and the motor to control the electric vehicle’s speed and acceleration much like a carburettor does in a gasoline-powered vehicle.

RS-485 is an industrial specification that defines the electrical interface and physical layer for point-to-point communication of electrical devices. The RS-485 standard allows for long cabling distances in electrically noisy environments and can support multiple devices on the same bus.

An EV charger pulls an electrical current from either a 240v outlet or the grid it’s hardwired to and delivers that electricity to the vehicle, just like any other appliance or device you charge by plugging into the wall.

Load Management interconnected with Hardware and Software through OCPP Load Management interconnects with hardware and software through OCPP.

OCPP is the shared language spoken between open EV chargers and charging station management systems (CSMS). Not all EV chargers and management softwares support OCPP, but systems that do enjoy a wide range of benefits.
