Business Development Executive

Job Brief:

We are looking for a business development professional or an inside sales executive to identify sales leads, pitch products or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

Shift Timings: 10.00 AM to 7.30 PM (Mon-Fri)


Roles and Responsibility:

  • Reach out prospects by Email marketing, Cold Calling, LinkedIn, Bidding Portals and other online Prospecting tools.
  • Develop new relationships and expand existing relationships to drive Consulting Services Sales.
  • Cold call targeted prospects in the US, Canada, Europe and UK followed by rigorous follow ups.
  • Execute campaigns around core offerings to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Getting past the reception/gate keeper on board line numbers or direct numbers to C-level executives like CEOs, CTOs, R&D managers, Product managers, Project managers etc.
  • Effectively pitch the company's portfolio by offering Product engineering & development and software solution services.
  • Proven track record of meeting a quota of at least $100000 in technology services.
  • Strike effective conversation during introductory calls and set up appointments and meetings with the business team.
  • Help in contacts and database generation following a predefined process using online portals, event/exhibition database and in-house data extraction tool.
  • Maintain own accounts, leads, potentials and progress sheets.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly targets for lead generation, No targets for revenue generation.
  • Leverage prior consulting sales experience to influence clients in resourcing strategies and create solutions that deliver on client needs.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal/RFP creation for client proposals/presentations.
  • Work closely with the technology team to assess market needs and development for individual accounts.

Skills Required:

  • 2+ years’ work experience in International Sales with Product engineering or IT company only.
  • Prior engineering services business lead generation experience is MUST.
  • Excellent communication skills with good presentation and logical reasoning skills
  • Comfortable doing database generation, email marketing and cold calling campaigns
  • Comfortable with Google search, LinkedIn and Microsoft Excel to build prospects databases.
  • Hard working, energetic and passionate about sales, someone who shows a lot of enthusiasm talking to prospects and understanding their pain points.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with internal stakeholders throughout the sales-cycle.
  • Technical knowledge and exposure to Embedded Systems - HW and SW/Video surveillance/Networking/Wireless technology would be a plus.
  • Prior exposure to Salesforce or Zoho CRM would be a plus.
  • Can work in Noon/Evening Shift, No Night Shift.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Preferably with MBA.
